Force denied

SHOCK, HORROR - City musician Bing Turkby has denied use of force at Monday's autograph-signing
session at Mango Music on The Square.
Turkby (aka librarian Craig Johnston) launched his fourth album 'Have You Seen Me
Vanquishing People Lately?' at the session.
The album has been described as a 100 per cent Bing effort in pure and undiluted
24-track splendour.
Asked if it was another concept album, Bing said it was. "The concept was to get
a lot of songs on there."
Bing plays sax, bass, guitar, piano accordian, tin whistle and sings. He wrote and
produced the album of largely indescribable music himself.
For the launch Bing provided two bags of lollies and a stamp advertising the website.
The Bing Turkby Ensemble plays the Olde Bailey from 10pm this Friday. Entry is free
and if you are really lucky there'll still be some copies of the new CD for sale.
